Here it is, with a couple of very new fellow-homages…
The “Selsey Wave” (2007) is a three-dimensional homage to “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” by Japanese artist Hokusai, published sometime between 1830 and 1833 (Wikipedia tells us).
This homage to Hokusai’s Wave appeared behind Paloma Faith’s outing on Graham Norton’s TV show on Friday, 14 February 2014.
This witty homage to the Hokusai Wave is by Jonathan McHugh and appeared in the Financial Times, 8/9 February 2014.
